Mary Yelling is an artist-run record label and creative hub founded by musicians Laura Reznek and Martha Paton aka. Martha St. Arthur.

Between us, we’ve spent over 15 years writing, recording, releasing, and touring our own music. Along the way, we’ve done almost every job the industry asks of artists - and plenty it doesn’t acknowledge. We’ve self-produced records, booked tours, run events, applied for funding, worked with labels and without them, and learned how much persistence it takes to keep making work you believe in.

Mary Yelling grew out of a desire to build something more human. We believe in music made with intention, in sharing knowledge rather than gatekeeping it, and in creating space for artists to work at their own pace. Through releases, live events, and collaborative projects, we support artists to make honest work in ways that feel sustainable and connected.

At its core, Mary Yelling is about craft, community, and making things that last.
